Bluebird Meadow
Puppy Health Guarantee
Our Commitment to Your Puppy's Health
At Bluebird Meadow Puppies, we are committed to raising healthy, well-socialized puppies and providing every puppy with the best possible start in life.
Before going home, every puppy receives a complete nose-to-tail examination by our veterinarian to help ensure they are healthy and ready to join their new family.
Please take a moment to review our health guarantee and buyer responsibilities.

30-Day Healthy
Puppy Guarantee
Your puppy is covered by a 30-day healthy puppy guarantee.
To maintain this guarantee, the buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within five (5) days of taking the puppy home. This examination is the responsibility of the buyer.
If your veterinarian diagnoses a life-threatening illness or condition that was not disclosed on your puppy's veterinary health report, you must notify Bluebird Meadow Puppies immediately.
Veterinary documentation will be required before any claim can be reviewed.
Three-Year Genetic
Health Guarantee
All of our puppies are covered by a three-year genetic health guarantee.
If your puppy develops a life-altering condition that is determined by appropriate genetic testing to be hereditary for the breed before their third birthday, you must notify the breeder immediately.
A complete veterinary report and supporting documentation will be required. In some cases, a second opinion from a veterinarian selected by the breeder may also be requested.

New Owner
Responsibilities
To keep your health guarantee valid, buyers agree to provide proper care for their puppy, including:
• Routine veterinary care
• Vaccinations as recommended by your veterinarian
• Regular deworming and parasite prevention
• Flea and tick prevention
• Proper nutrition
• Appropriate exercise
• Routine care of nails, ears, eyes, teeth, coat, and overall health
• Annual wellness examinations
Unless otherwise directed by your veterinarian, puppies should be spayed or neutered by one year of age.
Failure to provide appropriate veterinary care may void the health guarantee.
Complimentary
Pet Insurance
Bluebird Meadow Puppies partners with Trupanion to provide 30 days of complimentary pet insurance coverage to eligible puppies.
Activation is optional. Additional information will be provided at the time your puppy goes home.
Microchip Registration
Every puppy is microchipped through Global Pet Security.
The buyer is responsible for registering the microchip in their name after taking possession of the puppy.
Registration instructions will be included in your puppy packet.

If a Covered Health Issue Occurs
If a covered health condition arises, the buyer must contact Bluebird Meadow Puppies immediately and provide:
• A complete veterinary report
• A signed statement from the veterinarian
• Veterinary contact information
Documentation must confirm that the condition was not caused by abuse, neglect, injury, or improper care.
If the condition qualifies under the terms of this guarantee, the breeder may choose one of the following remedies:
Option One
Payment of veterinary expenses directly related to the covered condition, up to the original purchase price of the puppy.
Option Two
Return of the puppy and replacement with a puppy of similar breed, color, and size from a future available litter or another puppy agreed upon by both parties.
Important Limitations
The following conditions are not covered by this guarantee:
• Minor or easily correctable conditions
• Conditions that do not significantly affect the puppy's long-term health
• Allergies
• Future OFA certifications or results
• Changes in coat color, markings, size, or temperament
• Veterinary expenses not specifically covered by this guarantee
• Transportation expenses

Deposit Policy
A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required to reserve a puppy.
Once a deposit is received and a go-home date is established, the puppy will be scheduled for a veterinary examination with our licensed veterinarian.
If our veterinarian determines that the puppy has a major medical condition that prevents placement, the buyer will receive a full refund of their deposit.
Conditions considered minor, common, cosmetic, or easily correctable are not grounds for a deposit refund.
