A Little About Autumn
Meet Autumn, a beautiful red Pembroke Welsh Corgi girl whose name fits perfectly with the season when she’ll be heading home. Born on August 5, 2026, Autumn is spending these important first weeks growing and learning here at Bluebird Meadow Puppies in Middlebury, Indiana.
As she gets a little older each week, Autumn will begin discovering more of the world around her.
Time with her littermates, gentle interaction with our family, and exposure to the everyday sights and sounds around our home all become part of her early experiences. We enjoy watching this stage unfold as each puppy gradually begins showing us more of who they are.
With her lovely red coat and unmistakable Corgi appearance, Autumn is certainly a pretty little girl.
But there is much more to love about the Pembroke Welsh Corgi than those adorable looks. Corgis are intelligent, devoted, and naturally curious dogs with a wonderful way of becoming involved in family life. Their herding heritage also gives them that bright, alert personality for which the breed is so well known.
A Thoughtful Start at Bluebird Meadow
We believe the care a puppy receives during those first weeks can help lay the foundation for the transition into family life. Autumn is being raised with plenty of hands-on attention and early socialization while enjoying the company of her littermates.
Our goal isn't to rush these early weeks, but to give our puppies the opportunity to grow, explore, and experience new things at an age-appropriate pace. By the time September 30 arrives, Autumn will have spent nearly eight weeks growing and developing here with us before beginning the next chapter of her life.

We want that transition to feel as comfortable as possible, so Autumn will leave Bluebird Meadow Puppies with a few puppy essentials and familiar items, including:
A starter bag of Royal Canin puppy food
A collar and leash
A toy
Her goodie bag
Autumn will also be microchipped through Global Pet Security, with lifetime microchip registration. This provides permanent identification and an additional way to help reunite Autumn with her family should she ever become lost. Her family can also maintain a digital pet profile with important information connected to her.
