Where is Bluebird Meadow Puppies located?

Bluebird Meadow Puppies is located in Middlebury, Indiana, in Northern Indiana. We are approximately two hours from Chicago and three hours from Indianapolis. Families are welcome to visit by appointment.

Are your parent dogs health tested?

Yes. All parent dogs undergo genetic health testing and OFA evaluations before becoming part of our breeding program. Each pairing is carefully selected with health, temperament, and breed quality in mind.

Do your puppies come with a health guarantee?

Yes. Every puppy comes with a health guarantee and is covered by a three-year genetic health guarantee. Complete terms are available on our Puppy Health Guarantee page.

Question 4

How do I reserve a puppy?

Accepted Answer

A $300 deposit reserves a puppy for your family. Puppies are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to the first family that places a deposit.

What comes home with my puppy?

Accepted Answer

Each puppy goes home with veterinary and vaccination records, a health guarantee, AKC paperwork when applicable, a microchip, 30 days of Trupanion pet insurance, Royal Canin puppy food, a collar, leash, and toy.

What breeds do you raise?

We raise Pembroke Welsh Corgis, including occasional fluffy Corgis, and English Cream Golden Retrievers.

Can you help bring my puppy home?

Yes. We work with families throughout the United States and offer climate-controlled ground transportation, dedicated flight nanny service, Indiana airport meetups, and pickup at our home in Middlebury, Indiana.

Are your puppies good with children?

Our puppies grow up surrounded by children and family life. They receive daily interaction, socialization, and affection to help provide a positive foundation before joining their new families.

What happens after Gotcha Day?

We enjoy receiving photos and updates after our puppies go home. Families are also welcome to contact us with questions, and we are happy to provide continued support.

Can we visit before bringing our puppy home?

Yes. Visits are welcome by appointment. Families can see where their puppy has been raised and may also have the opportunity to meet the puppy's parents.

How are your puppies raised?

Our puppies are raised alongside our family and children. From their earliest days, they experience everyday household life, regular handling, cuddles, and family interaction.
