Meet Little Kenzie
Say hello to Kenzie, a lovely red Pembroke Welsh Corgi girl from Kelly and Ace’s August litter. Kenzie is spending her first weeks with us at Bluebird Meadow Puppies in Middlebury, Indiana, growing alongside her littermates and enjoying plenty of attention from our family.
At this stage, so much is changing from one week to the next. Kenzie is growing stronger, becoming more curious about the world around her, and beginning to experience all the sights, sounds, and activity that come with everyday life.
Her personality is still developing, and we believe in giving each puppy time to show us who they are rather than trying to predict their temperament too soon. For now, we’re simply enjoying this sweet stage of Kenzie’s life and looking forward to seeing more of her personality emerge as she grows.
A Little Corgi With a Lot Ahead of Her
There is something unmistakable about a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. From those short little legs and expressive faces to their alert ears and sturdy build, they have a look all their own.
Originally developed as herding dogs, Pembroke Welsh Corgis are known for being intelligent, attentive, and involved companions. Their smaller size certainly doesn’t mean a
small personality, and the breed has become loved by families who appreciate an affectionate dog with plenty of character.
Kenzie’s classic red coat gives her the beautiful traditional Corgi appearance so many people recognize and love. As she continues to mature, we can’t wait to watch her grow into that adorable Corgi look.
Growing Up at Bluebird Meadow
Kenzie’s early days are about more than simply getting bigger. These first weeks give her an opportunity to begin learning about the world in a safe and familiar environment.
Our puppies are raised with family involvement and introduced to age-appropriate socialization and everyday experiences as they develop. Kenzie gets to hear household sounds, interact with people, explore her surroundings, and, of course, spend plenty of time playing and snuggling with her littermates.
We want these experiences to provide Kenzie with a thoughtful beginning while still allowing her to do what puppies do best: play, eat, sleep, explore, and grow!
Getting Kenzie Ready for Home
When September 30 arrives, Kenzie will leave Bluebird Meadow with some familiar and helpful items to make the transition into her new home a little easier. Her going-home goodies include:
A starter bag of Royal Canin puppy food
A collar and leash
A toy
Her goodie bag
Kenzie will also be microchipped through Global Pet Security with lifetime microchip registration. This provides her with permanent identification and an additional layer of protection throughout her life. Her family will also be able to maintain important information through her digital pet profile.
Meet Kenzie’s Parents, Kelly & Ace
Kenzie’s story began with her parents, Kelly and Ace. They are part of our Corgi family here at Bluebird Meadow Puppies, and we believe it is important for families to know about the dogs behind the puppy they are welcoming home.
Sharing information about our parent dogs gives Kenzie’s future family a chance to learn more about her background and the Corgis who made this beautiful little girl possible.
Kenzie’s Next Chapter
For now, Kenzie still has some growing to do. Her days will continue to be filled with little adventures, littermate play, new experiences, lots of rest, and all those ordinary puppy moments that seem to pass much too quickly.
On September 30, 2026, Kenzie will be ready to leave our meadow and begin the next part of her story. Until then, we’ll enjoy every week we have with this beautiful red Pembroke Welsh Corgi girl, watching her grow and preparing her for all the new people, places, and adventures waiting for her beyond Bluebird Meadow.
