Meet Bo, a handsome cream English Golden Retriever puppy born to Hazel and Diamond on August 12, 2026. Bo is growing up with us at Bluebird Meadow Puppies in Middlebury, Indiana, where his first weeks are being spent alongside his littermates with plenty of care and attention from our family.

At this age, there is always something new happening. What begins as a tiny world centered around mom and littermates gradually expands as Bo becomes more aware of the people, sounds, movement, and activity around him.

We love giving our puppies time to show us who they are rather than trying to define their personalities too early. As Bo grows, we're looking forward to discovering all the little characteristics that will make this handsome boy uniquely his own.

More Than Just a Beautiful Cream Coat

There's no denying that the light coloring of an English Golden Retriever is eye-catching, and Bo's beautiful cream coat is already one of his standout features. But there is much more to appreciate about the Golden Retriever than appearance alone.

Golden Retrievers have roots as sporting and retrieving dogs, developed to work cooperatively alongside people. That history is reflected in many of the qualities commonly associated with the breed today, including intelligence, trainability, and an eagerness to be involved in family life.

Bo's Days at Bluebird Meadow

Life is pretty good when you're a puppy at Bluebird Meadow Puppies. Bo's schedule currently includes plenty of eating, sleeping, growing, and time spent snuggled up with his brothers and sisters.

As the puppies reach new developmental stages, their days gradually become more interesting. Bo will have opportunities to experience early socialization, age-appropriate handling, and exposure to the normal sights and sounds of everyday family life.

His littermates also play an important role. Puppy play isn't just entertaining to watch. Interacting with brothers and sisters gives puppies opportunities to explore, communicate, play, and learn from one another during these early weeks.

There will be plenty of time for bigger adventures later. For now, we're happy to let Bo enjoy each stage of puppyhood as it comes.

Behind Bo are his parents, Hazel and Diamond, and we're proud to share information about the dogs that make up his family tree.

We know bringing home a new puppy is such an exciting moment, and we want the process to feel as smooth and stress-free as possible from start to finish. At Bluebird Meadow Puppies, we are happy to offer several travel options to help our puppies safely reach their new families, whether you are close by or many states away.

Picking Up Your Puppy in Person
Families are always welcome to pick up their puppy at our home in Middlebury, Indiana. Many families love the opportunity to meet us in person, see where their puppy has been raised, and make the trip home together.

Ground Transportation
If traveling to Indiana isn’t convenient, we may be able to help arrange ground transportation through a trusted pet transporter. This can be a wonderful option for families who would prefer their puppy be hand-delivered in a safe, comfortable setting.

Flight Nanny Service
For families who live farther away, we may also be able to coordinate a flight nanny. With this option, your puppy travels in-cabin with a dedicated flight nanny and is personally cared for throughout the trip until they are safely placed in your arms.

Before going home, every Bluebird Meadow puppy receives age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming and is scheduled for a full nose-to-tail veterinary exam with our licensed veterinarian. This final wellness check is completed before your puppy leaves our care so that you can welcome home a happy, healthy puppy with confidence.

30-Day Healthy Puppy Guarantee
We offer a 30-day healthy puppy guarantee for every puppy. To keep this guarantee in place, your puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 5 days of going home at the buyer’s expense. If your veterinarian diagnoses a life-threatening condition that was not noted on the seller’s veterinary health report, you must contact us right away and provide a full veterinary report.

3-Year Genetic Health Guarantee
For our AKC puppies, we also offer a 3-year genetic health guarantee. If your puppy develops a life-altering, breed-specific genetic condition before their third birthday, confirmed by genetic testing, please contact us immediately so we can review the situation and discuss the next steps outlined in our health agreement.

been properly dewormed
received current age-appropriate vaccinations
completed a full veterinary exam
been sent home in good health at the time of transfer

What We Ask of Our Puppy Families
We ask each new family to continue the same thoughtful care after their puppy comes home. This includes:

staying current on vaccinations and deworming
using flea and tick prevention
feeding a balanced diet
providing regular exercise
keeping up with routine grooming and care, including nails, ears, eyes, teeth, and coat care
scheduling annual veterinary exams
spaying or neutering by the puppy’s first birthday, if required by your agreement

Following your veterinarian’s recommendations is an important part of keeping your puppy healthy and maintaining the terms of the health guarantee.
